Edward Drake is an Irish-Australian writer, director, and producer based in Los Angeles.
A member of the PGA and WGAw, Drake’s feature-film credits include Guns Up, American Siege, Broil, Breach, Cosmic Sin, Apex, Gasoline Alley, Paradise City, Lionsgate’s Knight Trilogy, and more.
The Ascent (World Premiere SXSW 2026), a feature true-crime/climbing documentary produced and directed by Drake, chronicles bilateral amputee Mandy Horvath’s attempt to summit Mt. Kilimanjaro after an unspeakable tragedy.
Drake won the Austin Film Festival’s 2020 Screenwriting Award (Dramatic).
Drake has directed for brands including Nike, British Airways, Samsung, Rexona, Grant’s Whiskey, and for music labels Atlantic Records, Universal Records, Mad Decent, OWSLA, Island Records, Warner Bros., and more.
